Niagara Falls Day Trip from New York by Air

Highlights

Discover the beauty and awesome power of Niagara Falls on a day trip from New York. You'll fly to Upstate New York, tour the falls on both the US and Canadian sides (don't forget your passport!), see all the sights, including a ride on the historic "Maid of the Mist" boat or the Journey Behind the Falls. And at the end of an amazing day you'll take an evening flight back to New York.

After being collected from your Midtown Manhattan hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Upstate New York (approximately one hour). On arrival, you will be met by your guide for the day to board the bus to Niagara Falls.

After lunch, it's time to board the famous "Maid of the Mist" boat for an up-close Niagara Falls experience. The 30-minute cruise takes you through the foaming waters to the base of the American Falls and the basin of Horseshoe Falls. You will get close enough to the falls to feel their cool mist on your skin.

The "Maid of the Mist" operates only in the warmer months, typically from May to October, so if you are traveling from November to April you may visit the Journey Behind the Falls instead. An elevator takes you behind the great sheet of Niagara Falls for a thunderous up-close view of Niagara Falls. Please note that "Maid of the Mist" may cease to operate earlier than October 31 depending on weather.

Due to the extreme popularity of this tour, a minimum 5-day advance booking is required.
Please note:

  • Due to new TSA policies, each passenger's date of birth, passport name, number, expiry and country is required at the time of booking. Failure to include this information will result in your reservation not being completed. Contact and/or hotel in New York must be provided in order to complete reservation.
  • Passenger(s) MUST have the required documentation to enter Canada.
  • Dates for "Maid of the Mist" may run into November or may cease earlier than October 31 depending on weather

New York in One Day Sightseeing Tour

Highlights

New York's most comprehensive 5.5-hour guided tour combines a bus tour with short walks and a boat cruise to see the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and Empire State Building. This is the only bus tour in New York City that incorporates a boat cruise into the tour. Having the tour guide accompany you on the boat cruise dramatically improves the quality of your sightseeing experience.

On other bus tours, you leave your tour guide behind when you "hop off" the bus. On this tour, your tour guide stays with you during the tour, hopping off at each stop to show you the attractions in depth. This format is more intimate, so you get to know your tour guide during the tour, asking questions is easier, and you really get a feel for New York City. The other benefit is that your bus waits for you at each stop, so you don't end up on a street corner waiting for the next bus to arrive.

You'll see New York City's major sites on this tour, including Times Square, the World Trade Center Site, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Central Park and Strawberry Fields. You will also see the Statue of Liberty up close from the boat, and have wonderful photo opportunities of the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty.

This is not a hop-on hop-off tour. The tour operates as a shuttle between the major New York attractions, and you are accompanied by your experienced guide when you get off the bus to visit each famous sight.

There is free bottled water on board, and the 35-passenger climate-controlled shuttles are warm in winter and cool in summer. A fun experience is assured for all onboard! The NY See It All! Tour is a perfect introduction to the Big Apple for first-time visitors, covering all the major sites and led by experienced, friendly, enthusiastic guides.
